In pain we become stronger. It is in our pain that actual change occurs, we live our lives blissfully unaware of how and why we got to this point, figuring out how we define that pain is what I am here for. I have worked with grief and loss, sadness and depression, anxiety and traumatic events in both personal and professional life. I have surrounded myself with the right people to confront these issues, so can you!

My inspiration to become a social worker stemmed from my personal experiences in my community. Observing the incidents of abuse, trauma and lack of support, developed a desire to reach out and provide guidance. Now that I currently hold a masters in a field I can genuinely have an impact in the community. This profession has granted my life meaning and sense of purpose. Currently I work in Special kids Special Families fulfilling that purpose. I work with clients from all parts of the spectrum. I mostly focus on working with children and family with multiple problematic issues. The job has made me grow as a professional and a person, helping build a behavioral health program was for the longest time one of my personal goals.
I wish to continue to expand my knowledge in the field and become the professional I always envisioned to be. My new venture sets me off to managing my own private practice. I want to be able give back everything I’ve learned to the community that made me grow. This would be a necessary step towards becoming the best version of myself I can be.
